Radionuclides have the same properties as heavy metals. In theory our expertise and technologies can be adapted to develop procedures that allow radio-nuclides to be removed from liquid waste and slurries. If successful, the C-Cure technology has the potential to remove low level contamination from large volumes of liquid waste, thus removing the need to dispose of large volumes of waste in special facilities. Instead the radionuclide will become concentrated in a small volume of C-Cure product for disposal.

We are seeking research projects with the nuclear industry to develop the technology further.
